Cut-and-sew manufacturing is most useful when the style, target market and expected quality are clear enough to make material and construction decisions. PIPK works across knitted and woven women's apparel using OEM, ODM, FOB or CMT cooperation according to the brief.

A reference alone does not establish the correct fabric, finish or cost. Add the commercial context so the development team can identify the right route.

Pattern and construction
Develop the shape and the layers beneath it.
As an OEM apparel manufacturer, PIPK develops your original design rather than simply adding a label to a blank garment. Sketches and references establish the direction; the pattern and sample establish how the garment is made.
Match pattern to fabric
Acetate, linen, wool and silk behave differently. We review stretch, drape, opacity and pressing response with the selected quality before finalising the pattern and seam treatment.
Plan internal construction
Specify lining, facing, interfacing, shoulder support and closures for tailoring; discuss boning, cups and support layers for structured bodices. The sample is checked inside as well as outside.
Coordinate surface work
Agree print or jacquard placement, embroidery coverage and beadwork areas against the pattern pieces. Trial the detail before committing the full garment to a costly technique.

Sample scope and corrections
Know what is included before development starts.
PIPK's sample-development scope as of 9 September 2026 covers pattern making, sample development, fitting corrections, the final tech pack, final digital patterns and grading for the agreed size range. The quotation records the style, materials and deliverables.
Two minor adjustment rounds
The sample fee includes two rounds of minor adjustments to the agreed design. A major pattern change requiring a new pattern, or a third or later minor adjustment round, is charged separately according to complexity. We confirm additional charges before starting that work.
Actionable fitting comments
Review the sample on the intended fit model. Send front, side and back photos, the relevant measurements and a single numbered list of changes. Mark whether each point concerns fit, construction or a new design choice.
Final development files
Confirm the digital pattern format, grading size range and measurement tolerances in the brief. Final files should reflect the approved sample version, not an earlier prototype. Any separately charged custom fabric or trim development is identified in the quote.
Written sample approval
Record approved measurements, fabric and colour, internal layers, closures, decorative placement and finishing. Resolve substitute materials and outstanding fit comments before using the sample as the bulk reference.
Sample development fees can be credited against the bulk order. The quotation records the applicable deduction before you proceed.
Bulk quantities and timing are confirmed after the sample and material route are agreed. Small orders depend on fabric and trim minimums; our sample approval guide covers the handover to production.
