Women's apparel development & productionGuangzhou, China

China womenswear manufacturing

A women's clothing manufacturer in China connected to Guangzhou's supply base.

PIPK combines product development and sourcing in Guangzhou with production support in Ganzhou for approved women's apparel programs.

Operating footprint

Two locations with different responsibilities.

The Guangzhou site keeps product questions close to fabrics, trims, samples and development. Ganzhou adds production support for programs that have passed the required approvals.

Why location matters

More supplier access only helps when material decisions are controlled.

Guangzhou provides access to a broad fabric and trim ecosystem. PIPK's role is to translate the product brief into measurable material requirements and take selected options through buyer approval.

  • Material directionHand feel, weight, colour, performance and target cost are discussed together.
  • Sample connectionMaterial choices are tested against construction and appearance in the sample.
  • Production referenceThe approved material and garment details guide bulk execution.
  • Visible limitsMOQ, lead time and specialist processes are confirmed by style rather than advertised as universal promises.

Development in Guangzhou

Connect sourcing, pattern making and fitting before production.

For overseas brands developing detailed womenswear, supplier access is only part of the work. We connect the chosen materials to the garment's fit and internal construction, then document the approved result for production.

01

Choose a specific fabric quality

Compare composition, weight, hand feel, drape and colour for acetate, linen, wool or silk options. Confirm the supplier's stock or custom-development route; a fibre name alone does not define the finished quality.

02

Develop the pattern and inside finish

The Guangzhou development team works from your sketch, references or tech pack. Agree fit measurements, seam placement, lining, support and closures, with a physical sample to check how these work together.

03

Record fitting corrections

Review photographs and measurements with a consolidated comment list. Track the pattern and sample version so a corrected waist, sleeve or bodice does not get lost between development and sewing.

04

Check supplier minimums

Custom dyeing, jacquard, printing, embroidery and exclusive trims may have separate minimums or setup costs. We identify these before confirming a small production run, together with any specialist work required for the style.

See the sample deliverables and correction terms and first-order quantity conditions.

Approved sample to production

Keep one agreed reference across development and sewing.

For orders assigned to Ganzhou production support, the handover must carry the approved details, not just an image of the style. Ask us to walk through these records during a factory visit or development discussion.

01

Sample and pattern version

Identify the approved sample, final pattern and tech pack. Record the size range, grading, critical measurements and tolerances, with buyer approval of any remaining changes.

02

Material and trim reference

Confirm fabric quality and colour, lining, interfacing, zips, decoration, labels and packing. A different bulk material or trim needs review rather than an unapproved substitution.

03

Checks during sewing

Use the approved sample to review measurement consistency, seams, internal finishing, closure function and decorative placement. Resolve discrepancies before they are repeated through the order.

04

Evidence relevant to your style

Request non-confidential examples and inside-out or close-up views of relevant construction. We do not share another customer's protected designs to demonstrate our work.

Our sample approval guide and garment quality-control process explain the details to agree before bulk production.

Assess the supplier fit

Send the actual garment brief, not only a target price.

We will review the product, quantity, material direction and required timing.
